Keyboard shortcuts

Windows on PCs:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 4 - press 'Alt' and letter at the same time.
• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 - press 'Alt' and letter, then press enter.
• Netscape 6 – press 'Alt' and letter at the same time.
• Opera 7 - press 'Shift' and 'Escape' and letter at the same time.

Macs:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 – hold down 'Control' key and then press letter.

Browser compatibility

Where possible, we used Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), so that you can view pages on a wide range of browsers. We tested with the following browsers:

• Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0, 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0
• Netscape 3.0, 4.7, 6.0 and 6.1
• Opera 5.12, 6.1 and 7.0

This work on making our site more accessible has been influenced by the Guidelines for UK Government Websites. This incorporates support for the Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI).
